Laptop Maintenance
Several (aka MANY) teachers have been experiencing more problems with their laptops. While age (of the laptop, of course) is certainly a factor, the lack of routine maintenance is also an issue! I am attaching (once again) directions for running Software Update and the Disk Utility. Another tip for those of you who just put your laptop to sleep every day: RESTART! I find that my laptop will begin to run slow and do weird things when I go days at a time without shutting down or restarting my laptop. I think if you will do these things, you will extend the life of your laptop!
